It is important to educate your employees in your Policy.
Frequently asked questions
1. Our company is in many locations, does Paramex have other test sites?
Paramex' home office is in Chico CA. The same as all C-TPAs, we use collection sites in other locations to facilitate our clients. Many TPAs promise service in any location, but rely on the services of local clinics and offices like ours to make this possible. Paramex strongly suggests that your company pays the collection sites directly for the drug tests they perform. Often TPAs will guarantee that payment is not required at collection sites for your convenience, and in turn, will raise the true costs of the service and send it back to you - the client. Knowing the exact collection costs at the sites allows you to see the true value and recognize that prices are not being inflated to line our pockets for the job done at the clinic in your area. Traditionally, TPAs bill their clients 45% higher than the actual cost of the collection. Paramex does not do this but rather asks clients in other locations to assume the cost of using the local clinic for the collection.
2. How often does Paramex Select Randoms?
We have several consortiums specific to the different modes or needs of a company. Companies with larger employee bases can also select to have a private consortium that tests at set percentages. All of our consortiums meet DOT guidelines and most test on a quarterly basis.
3. When do we have to renew our membership?
Membership for companies is due each year by December 31st for the following year. Independent Owner Operators have memberships that are annual based on the month they enroll. Renewal Invoices will be sent to the address on file a month in advance of your membership expiration.
4. How much of our account details do we have access to online?
Paramex has a website login that can be accessed at the top right of our web pages. Shared documents such as results and certificates are shared in this secure environment. As I am sure all would agree, the internet has an ever growing threat of cyber attacks and hackers. For this reason, we limit what we share on computers and do not allow payments to be made online.
